STUDIO OVERVIEW

We approach game development with a belief that every project can become its own world. Each idea begins with a spark - an atmosphere, a mechanic, a story - and we look to follow that spark wherever it naturally leads.

Whilst the core of each project remains in the interactive sphere, our philosophy is to let each project evolve honestly, and wherever possible we try to expand that into new forms of media and expression. The hope is that this will offer up new ways to experience and enjoy the ideas contained within, and therefore appeal to an ever increasing and diverse audience.

CURRENT COLLABORATORS

The roster at Sherpa Reynolds is a revolving one, allowing members to come and go as personal circumstance fits. It is more a platform for people to put out work under, and as it grows it is hoped it will become both a trusted and a respected one.

We're always open to more potential collaborations so if you like what you see, or have ideas of your own and like the idea of working together please do  [  Get In Touch  ]

DARE TO BE DIGITAL (2008)

Sherpa Reynolds started life as a team of 5 competing in the international video games competition Dare To Be Digital. An unorthodox team (there were no natural programmers), set about creating a gesture based audio game for the Wii. That team was:

Joseph Baggaley

Anthony Hartnell

Nathan Hornby

David McNab

Fasahat Salim

Although not shortlisted for an award many people appreciated our unusual approach - not just focusing on entertainment - but seeing how technology could be used as an engaging tool. Several opportunities arose to see if the game could be expanded upon though they never quite made it to fruition.
